July 10 & 11, 2026
Celtic 500" Corgi Races
We are proud to welcome the Michigan Corgi Club to the 3rd Annual Celtic 500" Corgi Speed Championships on the Renewal by Anderson Speedway.

In 2025 we're moving the Corgi Races (again) to the North Arena.

The races begin at 2:00 pm and there will be a race every 10-15 minutes throughout the day. The last race will be run no earlier than 4:00pm.

Each heat will start with a post parade, during which the emcees will introduce each racer as they parade around the track.

Heats will be assigned in advance, and racers will receive an email prior race day with your heat assignment.

Racers and their humans will be wearing color coordinated vests so everyone can tell who's who on the track.
Competing corgis will run in heats with the winner of each heat advancing to the championship where the top three finishers will race for the gold, silver and bronze medals.
The race will be 100-feet.

Each corgi will receive a commemorative bandana, access to the "Corgi Pits" and the admiration of thousands of Festival-goers.

There is no charge to register a corgi for the race, but humans need tickets to accompany their corgi into the Festival. Each racing corgi needs to bring two humans along for the race - purchase discounted ($15.00) advance tickets here. A portion of the proceeds from your ticket purchase will be donated to the Dachshund Haus and Corgi Rescue.

ADVANCE DISCOUNT TICKET SALES END AT MIDNIGHT ON JUNE 30. Adult admission at the gate is $18.00.
