Butterfly Walk

Butterflies remind us, even though we are apart.
Your spirit is always with us, forever in our heart.
PATRICK JOHN LITTLE
August 5, 1945 – April 14, 2026
As you explore the festival, you'll discover large, beautiful butterfly wings displayed throughout the grounds. We invite you to pause, step into the wings, and take a photo. These butterfly wings are more than just a photo opportunity—they are a symbol of remembrance for those we have lost.
Our Butterfly Walk is dedicated to the memory of Celtic Festival founder Pat Little.

Pat's obituary tells the story of a life devoted to public service, adventure, and a wonderful sense of humor. What it cannot fully capture is the lasting impact he had on the many volunteers who continue to keep his festival alive.

Even after retiring from the festival, Pat remained one of our greatest supporters. He generously shared his wisdom, encouragement, and guidance whenever it was needed. We were fortunate to know and love Pat, and we know he loved this festival and the people who make it possible.
We hope these butterflies serve as a reminder not only of Pat, but of all those whose memories continue to inspire and uplift us.
